Badass in Training
The Next Event I am Training for is: Chicago Marathon
The 2019 Chicago Marathon will be my 8th full marathon. For the first 7 I have used Hal Higdon’s training schedules and they have worked well to get me to the finish line. This year I am going to mix it up and try the Hansons Method. Feeling somewhat not a badass enough for this I am adding 4 weeks of base training with a program from Luke Humphrey Running, Final Surge.
One more kicker for this training. I’ve hired a coach. Not just any coach, but one who has been inspiring me for the last 27 years, my hubby Chris. Can a 25 year marriage survive the grind of marathon training? We will see . . .
